Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Result Guard, operated by Casey Jessup as a sole proprietorship based in Monroe, Washington. By installing or using the app, you agree to them.
1. The service
Result Guard monitors Shopify storefront discovery — search, filters, collections, and product visibility — and alerts you to detected issues with supporting evidence. It is a monitoring and QA tool. It does not change your store except where you explicitly use a guided fix, and it does not guarantee that every issue will be detected or that any specific revenue outcome will result. Result Guard is designed not to request protected Shopify customer, order, or payment-card data for ordinary monitoring.
2. Accounts and access
You are responsible for the store you connect, the monitoring rules you configure, and the alert destinations you provide. You must have authority to connect and monitor the store. If you configure Slack, email, or webhook destinations, you authorize Result Guard to send alerts, screenshots, and related monitoring evidence to those third-party services or endpoints.
3. Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed through Shopify under the plan you select. Test charges may apply during the pre-launch period. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the charge through Shopify billing or by contacting support@resultguard.app. Refunds are reviewed case by case and, when approved, are processed through Shopify where applicable. Unless required by law, Shopify policy, or approved by us in writing, fees are non-refundable after a billing period begins, including partial months or unused monitoring time.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use Result Guard to monitor stores you do not control, to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or in violation of Shopify's terms or applicable law.
5. Your data
You retain ownership of your store data. You grant us the rights needed to operate the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. Monitoring is best-effort and may miss issues or produce false positives.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Result Guard is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim.
8. Termination
You may uninstall the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
10. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Unless applicable law requires another forum, disputes related to these terms or the service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Washington, and each party consents to that venue.
